My name is Jon, and I am fundraising for my dear friend, Mark Carovale. Yesterday, Thursday, July 7th, a devastating fire destroyed Mark’s apartment in Wharton, NJ. The fire started in an adjacent apartment and spread to his while he was home. He evacuated but could not collect any possessions while the emergency crews worked to put out the blaze. The water ruined what wasn't destroyed by the fire, including his laptop, computer, and phone. Emergency crews were only able to collect his melted medication bottles, and Mark has been unable to re-enter his home to see what remains. He's likely lost all of his possessions. Throughout all of this, Mark went on to direct a children's show at a local community theater that night.

Mark, who has touched so many lives with his generosity and support of the arts and theater, needs support himself. Any help would be greatly appreciated in this difficult time as he works to get back onto his feet.
