Lauren's battle with Leukaemia

Lauren is just eleven years old and should be enjoying her last year in Primary School, but instead she is layed up in bed battling Leukaemia again. This has come as a devastating blow to Lauren and her family after having first battled ALL a couple of years ago at the young  age of seven.  Lauren is well aware of the journey ahead of her, (Nausea, vomiting, fatigue, hair loss, ulcers,
gastrointestinal distress, painful tests, daily injections, the emotional rollercoaster and social disconnection) just to name a few. Yet in this photo only taken a week ago she is still smiling. This beautiful young girl has a heart of gold and we would like to raise as much money as possible to assistance with the medical expenses/personal needs of Lauren & her family. Lauren and her mother will now need to be at Westmead Hospital for at least 4 to 6 months, and then will follow a 2 year treatment plan after the weekly chemo is finished which will include traversing to sydney and back on a regular basis.
