Hello Friends & Family,
The day has come for my hip replacement surgery. This Wednesday is the big day! I am looking forward to walking without pain and getting out more in nature with my wonderful dog Niall!
I am fortunate to have so many family & friends to help out preparing for my surgery & recovery. So grateful & blessed for their loving caring support.
Although I am looking forward to the life improvement the cost of this is overwhelming & stressful. Unfortunately the medical expenses are so great I can’t put the financial burden on my family alone. It will cause a significant decrease in income which will have a damaging impact on my finances.
As most of you all know, I am self employed and not old enough to be retired on Medicare, qualify for short term disability or leave with pay from employer. After the surgery I will then need a minimum of 4-6 weeks to fully recover and regain limited mobility. So… my workload will be at a minimum and the medical expenses will be greater than $7000 out of pocket after my insurance. This….I just learned a few days before my surgery!
I am reaching out to see if you could help with a well needed donation. Any amount of support would be greatly appreciated and would enable me to pay my outrageous Medical bills.
I send love & light to all of you!
Thank you !
Liz Boucher-Jordan
