Medical expenses

Hello my name is Elizabeth (Lizzie) Garcia and I’ve decided to keep the fundraiser active as I need to continue with the Integrative cancer treatment and to help me pay some bills that my insurance didn’t cover while I was at Envita Medical Centers in Arizona. You can read my story below:

I have been living with stage IV colon cancer since 2014. I had many surgeries throughout the years, first one on 2015 then in 2019 & another in 2021 to removed tumors and have done several rounds of chemotherapy. And when I thought everything was good and I was in remission, after my 3 months check up, just this past October the cancer came back in my colon again. I had surgery to remove part of my colon for a second time a month ago. The Doctor wasn’t able to remove all of the cancer during surgery and recommended chemotherapy to reduce the tumor with hope that he can remove it at a later date. A PET scan was performed a few weeks later that revealed that I have metastasis in my liver, lungs and pelvis. At this point my oncologist said that my chances of survival were not good and also recommended chemotherapy to just prolong my life as there is no cure. After that diagnosis I was devastated as well as my family. It’s like I had been given a dead sentence. And after reviewing all of the not too many options, I came across this clinic in Arizona that looks very promising with their treatments and I have decided to go for a holistic and natural approach to treat and hopefully cure my cancer.

I relocated with my husband for three months last year to the state of Arizona and received treatment at the Envita Medical Center. Unfortunately, insurance didn’t cover the expenses and I humbly ask for any amount you can donate to help me cover medical bills which adds up to over $130,000.
