ShutDown Petland Legal Defense Fund

Hello, my name is Karen Paul. A year and a half ago I started a investigation into a local Petland that sells cats and dogs after a personal experience I had at the location. I started a Facebook page to give the community a place to learn what I had exposed about this investigation and allow consumers a place to report their own experience for support and help. I did this in hopes the Department of Agriculture would take notice and take action. Through this page we are hoping to raise awareness about the lack of action done by officials and in hopes of changing animal welfare laws local and statewide.
Due to this Petland took action of their own and filed a lawsuit against me a few months ago. At this time I need support from the community and financially to make sure this doesn't continue and justice is served. For each motion, deposition, or filing costs have been incurred and continue to accrue. (This is not for the cost of my attorneys time.) I need monetary donations to help fight this. The money will go towards court fees (example: file fees and court reporter time), costs of depositions and transcripts.

I will be forever grateful and thankful for any contributions. So will the animals who have no voice.
