Lisa Stephens passed away on Friday, September 16th from surgery complications at the young age of 67. Lisa had been dealing with chronic health issues brought about by her Erhlers-Danlos diagnosis. She is survived by her three adult children, Matthew Freeman, Erinn Mullen, and James Drew Stephens, and her Grandaughter Emily Mullen.

Lisa was born in New York City and grew up in New Jersey before relocating to Southern California. She spent the past 35 years living in the Tampa Bay area. Lisa was a nurse for over 30 years and loved to help everyone she met.

Lisa was a "Friend of Bill W." and met her late husband James William Stephens while attending AA meetings.

Lisa loved watching the Tampa Bay Rays & Tennesee Volunteers, and going to the beach.

Please assist us in covering all costs for cremation. Anything would be appreciated to help the family during this time of grief. Her children are planning to drive the route that she took out to California in the 1970s and spread her ashes at the Glass Church in Palos Verdes, CA. The rest of her ashes will be with her late husband at Bay Pines VA in Pinellas County, FL.
