It's been a very rough road for this family. My dearest of friends, John, Shannon, Ian & Hayden.

Many of you don't know this, but John was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) just a short while back. Many of you may not know much about this, but it's a devastating disease that slowly robs you of your life. Every day tasks like eating, talking,walking become monumental steps in each day. There is no cure. There is very little anyone can do to slow the progression. 

It has been a devasting journey for John, his wife Shannon and their two boys. Financially, emotionally and physically draining their spirits. Trying to enjoy the time together the best they can. Unfortunately paying for bills, working, home repairs, doctor visits...all get in the way of spending these precious moments they have left with each other. 

If I could do anything to take away their pain, I would. I know I can't...which breaks my heart. But I can try with all my heart to send them on a ONCE IN A LIFETIME TRIP to celebrate the time they do have. Please help me do this for them. It would mean so much. Just to bring a small amount of joy and laughter to their lives that they will always remember.

I know there are so many people out there praying for them.  Keep the prayers coming!

Count your blessings. Hug the people in your life that are important to you. Tell them you LOVE them. Life is way too short.
