House Fire

Grifton, NC : On Monday, January 10, 2022, a fast moving early-morning fire destroyed my dads house along with my grand mothers, stepmother, step brother, his wife and their 2 kids. They were able to get out but sadly lost their pet. They lost everything. We’ve kept this house in the family for at least 75+ years. My family is very hurt, not due to the materialist things, just how much this house meant to us.

My step mother found out at the end of last year that she has stage 4 lung cancer and it’s spreading. She’s been going to the hospital for chemo. She also has slipped discs in her back.

This GoFundMe has been created so that my family can spend whatever amount of time they will need to grieve and then heal from the trauma of losing their home and pet. The funds raised will be given to my family to help with food, bills, house, car, etc. Everyone who knows my family knows they will give you the shirt off their back.

Its hard for us to ask for help, it takes a lot but I know we have no choice at this point. Any and all help is greatly appreciated , even if it’s just a share or a prayer ! Thank you so much !
