To know the Holloway family has been anything but a privilege & a blessing. Kathy has been part of our work family since we moved to Port Blandford & then quickly became part of our own family. Kathy is the lady who greets everyone on site with the greatest respect & the most beautiful smile...to our customers she's the one who mirrors the perfect image of kindness. Kathy is the first to help anyone in need & is always there to make sure anyone in her or any community needs help she engages immediately, She frequently drops many items to the local SPCA & shelters.

Her world was shattered on the morning June 19 when she awoke to the most disturbing call from her daughter in law about the sudden sickness of her youngest grandchild Oliver. He woke with difficulty breathing & was rushed to emergency care in Flin Flon Manitoba only to be emergency air lifted with medical team to Winnipeg where he is currently being treated. Oliver could only be with the one parent for transportation at the time. His dad Joshua, Kathy & Shawn's son placed their oldest son in their other grandmothers care so he could make the 10 hour ride to be by his sons side.

It has been such an unexpected turn of events for Joshua, Kayla & Owen, they're unsure as to what could have happened to Oliver other than they were told it could be bacterial or other. Oliver is in the great care of the medical team in Winnipeg & we are hopeful that he will fully recover , it will & may take some time as they are unsure of what is really wrong with him. He was born a perfectly healthy happy little boy & never had any health issues, he was perfectly healthy & happy the day before he took sick, both Joshua & Kayla's family are heartbroken beyond.

Joshua & Kayla will endure the loss of work as they continue to be with Oliver until he is able to come home with them.

They have worked really hard & struggled to get where they are today to be self sufficient in taking care of their family.
