El jueves 22 de mayo, Jacobo sufrió un accidente mientras circulaba en moto por el carril derecho. Un auto negro lo encerró contra el borde de la carretera y se dio a la fuga mientras que la moto perdia el control. Jacobo impactó contra un poste y quedó gravemente herido. Fue trasladado de urgencia y sometido a una compleja cirugía, en la que extrajeron fragmentos y estabilizaron su columna con tornillos. Aunque la operación fue exitosa, Jacobo hoy no tiene movilidad en las piernas.

Su familia está haciendo todo lo posible para acompañarlo, pero necesita ayuda para cubrir los gastos médicos, terapias y traslados.

Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que parezca, le da a Jacobo la oportunidad de volver a levantarse.

On Thursday, May 22, Jacob was in an accident while riding his motorcycle in the right lane. A black car cut him off toward the edge of the road and fled the scene as the motorcycle lost control. Jacob crashed into a pole and was seriously injured. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent a complex surgery in which fragments were removed and his spine was stabilized with screws. Although the surgery was successful, Jacob currently has no mobility in his legs.

His family is doing everything they can to support him, but they need help covering the costs of medical treatment, therapy, and transportation.

Any contribution, no matter how small, gives Jacob the chance to stand up again.
