FEEDING THE FRONT LINES

The current COVID-19 pandemic has tested our country's resolve, but one thing America is good at is standing together during the hardest challenges. As many of you know the Detroit area that we call home is currently 4th in the U.S. in COVID-19 cases. This is causing havoc on our local medical infrastructure. The men and women in the medical field who take the risk and show up to the hospital every day, work long hours and are under-equipped. These heroes accept this challenge to take care of complete strangers to make sure that if something happens to the rest of us we have a fighting chance. As first responders ourselves, we felt obligated to do something to show our appreciation for our fellow public servants. While we can't buy a million masks or build ventilators, we can provide them with a quality meal. We will spend every dollar raised to feed the nurses, doctors and any hospital staff we can for as long as this situation goes on.

In an effort to support local businesses who are also falling on hard times, we are working with several local restaurants and food trucks to help us provide the meals. With an average of $12-15 dollars per meal as our cost. Our goal of $10,000 raised will allow us to provide about 800 quality meals to the Emergency Departments and ICU's in the Detroit Area. The more awareness and funds we can raise the sky's the limit. We will not stop. Thank you for your support and we look forward to making a difference together.
