Hi Folks.

I'm going for a walk !

My plan is to walk from Crosshaven to Crookhaven with a handful of good friends. We hope to cover approximately 160km over a period of 6 days carrying everything we need on our backs. Like so many of us, I have family and friends that have been deeply affected by Cancer, so I'm raising money to benefit Breakthrough Cancer Research, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Breakthrough Cancer Research funds the efficient and effective development of new treatments for cancer. We work to significantly impact the number of people who can survive this disease. Research programmes funded by Breakthrough Cancer Research must focus on translating lab discoveries into new treatment opportunities. To this end we work closely with clinicians in practice all over Ireland so that our research is targeted at finding new options for poor prognosis and incurable cancers.
