Support a mothers fight for safety and justice

I’ve been advocating for my children for 5 yrs almost now, since I left an abusive marriage and have since had the legal system weaponized against me. My motherhood has been stolen from our babies. I was a full time stay at home parent for almost 9 yrs prior to the separation. He paid bills but he was not an involved, present parent.

My children’s father’s medical neglect almost just killed our daughter and he continues to abuse his power of control to alienate her from me while she is screaming for her mommy in the ICU- where she has been since 07-11.

I am distraught and I am desperate for help. If anyone feels called, all the words of gratitude could never be enough. We need an attorney. Legal aid can be of no emergency help to me right now and I left the courthouse yesterday with no answers but that I absolutely just know we need an attorney. This can’t keep happening. I’ve been trying to legally amend things for years but the system moves very slow and life has been very cruel.

I am fully prepared to fight for an immediate change of custodial possession- they have their own rooms here, it is safe here. I’ve had to take an unforeseen amount of time from my jobs but everyone is very understanding and are gracing me with allowance in great patience. I lack transportation and legal assistance due to lack of funds and that is it.

Their father and his family hid how sick she was from me for a week and hadn’t allowed me to see her since her baptism 3 weeks prior. The surgeon guesses her appendix ruptured 3-4 days before he brought he to urgent care. She was in kidney failure and liver damage and sepsis. She was also left home alone with her 12 yr old sister for 8ish hrs crawling to the bathroom in pain the day of. She told me this herself when we got to the hospital. I have [years of] evidence of abuse/neglect and am working with social workers.

I have to trust that the same system that put us in this situation may finally do the right thing.

Until then, we are at his every mercy of what he allows my involvement to be and when.

i thank everyone willing to help in any capacity in advance and hope everyone will continue to pray for Jossy. She’s typically a very healthy girl and is an all star baseball player. She is sunshine in human form to everyone that’s ever had the privilege to know her and my soul is entirely shattered for her suffering. While she is doing better and is no longer sedated on a breathing tube as she was for days, she is still very sick.

he yanked her oxygen out on 07-14. Nurses are documenting. She was crying and he was telling her she needed to push herself to ween off of it. I can’t over articulate the severity of the abuse. These babies need my help for a situation that should have never existed.
