Help Meike Heal!!!

Although it is very difficult to reach out and ask for financial help, it is also very humbling. I am reaching out to my family and friends for help in one of the most difficult times of my life. I guess it really does take a whole village. 

First of all, I am a wife and mother of 2 amazing kids. They are my pride and joy. My daughter, Isa, is 15 and my son, Xen, just turned 13. They have such kind hearts and are so full of life. They are compassionate and always willing to help. Especially when they see someone hurt or being left out. I have been homeschooling them for 8 years now. It's been great being able to watch them grow into such wonderful young adults.

I have just had my 40th birthday and it's one I will never forget. I found a lump in my left breast in March of 2021 and went in for a biopsy...it's the big "C" word (DCIS - ductal carcinoma in situ, which is cancer of the milk ducts). I don't want to give it too much power so I am calling it the "C" word. It has been a confusing and trying time since. Right now I am visiting doctors and taking a ton of tests to try and figure out what the right path for me is. My family has been here to support me emotionally but now I am asking for some financial support as well. Regardless of the treatments I decide on, there are a number of tests not covered by insurance and organic foods and herbal supplements are super expensive. I am trying to gain some healthy weight to help give my body the best support that it needs during this time. It will give me tremendous peace of mind knowing that I don't have to worry about how I will pay for the next thing that I need. We've been struggling financially for a number of years and this seems to be the straw that's breaking the camel's back. So that's why I am humbly asking for your help in giving whatever you feel led to give at this time. No matter how big or small your contribution is, it will be really appreciated. Also, if you find it in your heart and it feels right to you, then please share this with your family and friends as well.
