Cassandra has so often been the first person to volunteer to help another. 
She now finds herself in the extraordinarily difficult position of being a disabled veteran who needs to move across the country to escape an unhealthy situation, all while pregnant and financially destitute. 

While emotional and physical support are still very much appreciated, the enormity of the financial cost associated with moving herself, her animals and her belongings 3,000 miles cannot be overstated.
