Emergency vet hospital bills

Hi my name is Matthew, and I'm trying to raise funds for the family of poor Benjamin, he was shot twice while running away from his assailants. He had to be taken immediately to an emergency veterinary hospital. He has one .22 bullet that has shattered inside his hip, and another that went through his chest cavity, passing through one of his lungs. Both bullets are still inside of him. He's currently in stable condition, the vet bills have chewed through their savings though, and he still will need to have the bullets removed, once he's recovered from the initial emergency. It's already cost them upwards of $10,000, and with the requiring of surgery, it will probably be in the ballpark of $12,000 any help would be huge. Thank you.
