John Renner Hospital Fund

On Sunday, December 20th, a 14 year old teen was hiking around Stone House pond when he slipped off the edge due to some ice covered rocks and fell over 100 feet below. John Renner survived the fall, but sustained serious injuries. John was airlifted by helicopter to nearest trauma center and was treated. John comes from an extremely giving family. His Mother, Jamie and Father Justin are extremely hard working, and are the epitome of a great American love story. Jamie and Justin, who met in high school, are a young couple raising four children. For more than 20 years, they work and devote their lives to their family. Recently, the Renners closed on their first home. With all of the excitement and expense that comes when purchasing a new home; they have to now look at an unknown cost of major medical expenses. Although Justin works full time and has insurance. The medical expenses are beyond what is covered and may be enough to destroy the opportunities they were working so hard to achieve. A group of us, in the community of Deerfield are attempting to help this wonderful family in their time of need. The Renner’s have not asked us for help. We are doing this because of how great this family is. We are looking to help raise money to help defray the medical costs for them. This is about offering them a hand up and not a hand out. We understand that not everyone is in a position to assist, we would ask those that are, consider helping this wonderful family. Donations of any size would be graciously accepted.
