On August 6th, 2025 our beloved, Aida Derso, went home to be with The Lord. Her passing was sudden and unexpected, and has shattered the hearts of all who knew her. Aida was more than a daughter, sister, and friend — Aida lived a life devoted to God’s service by sharing His love through missions, encouraging those around her, and offering a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a light in our community, and her absence is felt profoundly.

As her family walks through this season of mourning, we ask that you uplift them in prayer and take this opportunity to come together in unity to honor her memory.

"ወንድሞችና እኅቶች ሆይ፥ ተስፋ እንደሌላቸው እንደሌሎችም እንዳታዝኑ፥ አንቀላፍተው ስላሉት ታውቁ ዘንድ አንፈልግም፤ ኢየሱስ እንደ ሞተና እንደተነሣ ካመንን፥ እንዲሁ በኢየሱስ በኩል ያንቀላፉትን እግዚአብሔር ከእርሱ ጋር ያመጣቸዋልና።"

1ኛ ተሰሎንቄ 4፡13-14

በኦገስት 6፣ 2025 ውዷ አይዳ ዴርሶ ከጌታ ጋር ለመሆን ወደ ቤት ሄደች። ማለፊያዋ ድንገተኛ እና ያልተጠበቀ ነበር፣ እና የሚያውቁትን ሁሉ ልብ ሰብሯል። አይዳ ከሴት ልጅ፣ እህት እና ጓደኛ በላይ ነበረች - አይዳ ፍቅሩን በተልእኮ በማካፈል፣ በዙሪያዋ ያሉትን በማበረታታት እና ለተቸገረ ሁሉ የእርዳታ እጇን በመስጠት ለእግዚአብሔር አገልግሎት የተሰጠ ህይወት ኖረች። እሷ በማኅበረሰባችን ውስጥ ብርሃን ነበረች፣ እና የእሷ አለመኖር በጥልቅ ይሰማል።

ቤተሰቦቿ በዚህ የሀዘን ሰሞን ውስጥ እያለፉ በፀሎት እንድታነሷቸው እና በዚህ አጋጣሚ መታሰቢያዋን ለማክበር በአንድነት እንድትሰበሰቡ እንጠይቃለን።

ይህ የገንዘብ ማሰባሰብ የሚከተሉትን ወጪዎች ለመሸፈን ይረዳል፡-

ለአይዳ ቤተሰብ ጥልቅ ሀዘናችሁን ለማሳየት ለፀሎት፣ ለደወሉ፣ ለጎበኟቸው፣ ለለገሱ፣ ከቅርብ እና ከሩቅ የተጓዙትን እያንዳንዳችሁን በቤተሰቡ ስም ከልብ አመሰግናለሁ። እየታገሡት ያለው ከፍተኛ ሥቃይ ቢኖርም ቤተሰቦቿ አይዳ የሕይወታቸው አካል እንድትሆን በመፍቀድ በጸጋ በባረካቸው አምላክ መታመንን እና ጥንካሬን ማግኘታቸውን ቀጥለዋል። ቤተሰቧ በዚህ በማይታሰብ ጊዜ ለኤዳ እና ለቤተሰቧ ላሳዩት ፍቅር እና ድጋፍ በጣም አመስጋኞች ናቸው።

" መልካሙን ገድል ተጋድዬአለሁ፥ ሩጫውን ጨርሼአለሁ፥ ሃይማኖትንም ጠብቄአለሁ"
