The Carlson Family Fund

On October 18, 2019, the Carlson Family suffered a devastating loss when their new home had a tragic house fire. They purchased the home in June and spent their entire summer doing carpentry projects, painting, new flooring, lighting, appliances and furniture. They had just finished the renovations and were only able to enjoy 5 nights in their new dream home before this devastating fire occurred. The fire started from a "power surge" to the microwave when the electricity came back on after an October wind storm. The fire caused extensive damage to the kitchen and dining room and what the fire didn't destroy......the smoke and heat did destroy! The insurance company deemed the home a "complete loss". All of their beloved possessions were also destroyed or severely damaged from the smoke and heat.
