Hi, my name is Erica and I'm trying to raise funds to help my sister, Jessica, pay for medical bills and other living expenses. She has been diagnosed with Thyroid cancer for the third time and will be undergoing surgery again May 1st. Her first diagnosis was back in 2009, with it returning in 2012 so it has been a while since she's had to deal with a surgery and the related costs.

With having to take many days off of work for all the biopsies, tests, and procedures so far, she has no more vacation time remaining and has already accumulated some medical costs after insurance paid their portion. I am hoping to help fundraise for her to cover the medical bills she has now, as well as the cost of the surgery and general household expenses while she is off work for a few weeks. There will be two surgeons performing the surgery to try to save the left vocal cord.
