Liz Raygor's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On her bike ride home from work, Liz and her hubby were riding near some railroad tracks and Liz's bike tire caught on one of the tracks. Her bike tipped over and Liz sustained injuries that she tried to tell Ranon and others were "no big deal." After a couple days of nagging pain, Liz finally went to urgent care (her tolerance for pain is dangerously high). After X-rays, it was determined that Liz broke her pelvis in two different spots. She is in pain of course...but if you know Liz like I do, you know she doesn't like to sit still and do nothing. Right now, Liz is unable to walk (and do simple things, as you can imagine).
Right now, Liz is trying to remain as "non-mobile" as possible so that her broken bones can heal. There is no surgery that can "fix" her bones...just time. She has a wheelchair and the assistance of her devoted husband (Ranon), and her awesome sister (Nichole) and her wonderful mother (Susie) and also many friends and co-workers who have brought over food and adult beverages to feed Liz and cheer her up! Ranon is working his @$$ of right now, trying to make sure his job responsibilities are fulfilled, as well as Liz's. (And then upon returning home, he has to do dishes, laundry, feed the pets, etc, etc, etc.) Side note: Ranon recently celebrated his birthday (August 2nd), which was right before Liz's accident. Back to the story...
However, with physical therapy costs (in addition to the costs from X-rays, prescriptions, office visits, etc) AND not being able to return to work for a minimum of another 4 weeks, Liz and Ranon could use some help from their wonderful friends!!!
If we each donate what we can, it will really help Liz and Ranon get through this tough time.
No amount is too small!!! Thank you :)
