Hi everyone, my name is Zeyd. I’m a 28 year old transman from Azerbaijan which means I had to live a secret life my entire life. Right now I’m a refugee in the Netherlands, because I hope I can live my life freely here as the person who I am. I’m still waiting to hear if I can get a resident permit and stay in the Netherlands, which means I’m not allowed to work right now.

I started my transition already more than 1 year ago. I started the hormone therapy on my own, because I couldn’t wait even one more month. I felt like I’m late to everything in my life, I’m late to being myself. I cannot get the top surgery in the Netherlands any time soon. There is 2 year long waiting list for the trans clinic and they even closed the waiting list because of all the applications, not responding to my messages. So this means till I’m gonna get on the waiting list and get my surgery it’s gonna take at least 4 years. Besides the fact that I truly feel I cannot wait that long, mostly top surgeries in the Nederland leave really big scars. I don’t want to see these on my body for the rest of my life, that is why I would like to get my top surgery in Turkey. There they are really professional in doing the surgery and making it look aesthetically pleasing with minimal scars.

I need your help for doing this surgery in Turkey. The surgery will cost €3000 and I need €1500 for travelling and my stay there. I don’t have anybody there so I should rent a place to stay, because before the surgery I should be there a few days because they have to do some medical tests.

I don’t have any contact with my family because they are not supporting me in my transition. That’s why I hope I can get some support for my top surgery through GoFundMe.
