Why am I fundraising?
The gender clinic waiting times are disheartening. If I stay with the NHS, it could still be another 6 years before I get an initial appointment, let alone surgery itself. It’s difficult to focus on other goals in life when I know this is a priority and has become a need as well as a want. Sadly this does affect me daily, it has for years and takes up most of my headspace. I’m feeling ready to celebrate myself and feel empowered by this choice. I’ve worked at the pace of others for too long, but it’s time to think about me. My goal is to get this done before I’m 30, which is surprisingly not that long!
TransAid Cymru
I’m also happy to share that alongside my fundraising, I will be working with Trans Aid Cymru, they are an amazing charity that offer practical and financial support to trans, NB and intersex people. Sadly, they have recently had to stop their grants to the community due to a lack of donations. So it’s our time to give back and help out. I’m hoping to raise an additional £500 on top of my surgery costs, which will go directly to TAC.
The Fundraising Mission:
1. On 5th July 2026, me and my bestbud Charl are partaking in a Super Sprint Triathlon, which is beyond our comfort zone. If you told me we’d be doing this early into our friendship, I’d be in disbelief. A 24hr rave would have sounded more believable… but we're giving this a go and any support helps keep us going.
2. On 17th July, I’m hosting a club night at Cider Box. Tickets are available on Headfirst called Slice O’ Melon. If you love music and a dance, grab a ticket. All proceeds go to this! Check out the links here:

3. I am currently in the process of venue searching to run evening collage workshops. Tickets will be available on headfirst - keep an eye out.
More to come...
Love x
