On Monday October 25th, local Wassaic Resident Mary McNamara received a phone call that no parent should ever receive, her Daughter Gracie had experienced a siezure, was not breathing and was being rushed by Ambulance to Hartford Children's Hospital. Gracie is a kind hearted student in the Webutuck Central School District who always has a smile on her face. Since October 25th, Gracie has been fighting for her life. Gracie has had siezure like activity and has been on a ventilator until yesterday. Gracie has had multiple different treatments to try to mitigate this unfortunate medical event. Gracie has made some progress but still has a very long road to recovery ahead. I'm creating this gofund me page on behalf of Gracie's family in hopes of raising money for medical expenses, transportation, food, lodging, lost wages, ect. As many of you know, we are a close knit community that always looks out for one another. Let's help this family when they need it the most!!
