Hello, I’m Ana Laura, Zeus’s mama. Zeus suffered a fall on October 13 that ended up leaving him paralyzed from his lower half. He underwent a series of examinations, including an MRI and a surgery that saved his life and helped the paralysis not spread further. The alternative was something that, as his family, we couldn’t fathom in his short 4 years of life.

The next steps are to get him through 6 weeks of strict crate rest as he heals from his spinal surgery, and start his physical therapy in hopes that he can walk again.

I never thought I’d be here, but this has been tragically unexpected, leaving us a large financial debt we weren’t prepared for. Mario, Marcelo, and I appreciate any help.

If you have met Zeus, you know he is the sweetest, most loving, and calm dog ever. He is always by our side. He supported us through a really tough time and helped us welcome our baby boy, Marcelo.
