Thank you for viewing my page! My name is Zeus. I am 6 years old and I’m an emotional support dog for my Mama. I also have 6 human siblings. We are a BIG family!

For the last 2.5 weeks I have been very sick. We don’t know how it happened but I somehow swallowed an object that caused a severe bowel obstruction. After paying nearly $3,000 to an emergency vet, we were reassured that I did not have an obstruction and it was just a severe gastroenteritis. I was sent home to only get worse over the next 2 weeks. After this misdiagnosis, my family couldn’t afford to pay for another trip to the emergency vet. Since we were told it was not an obstruction, they tried everything they could to get me better at home. But on May 10, 2021 I ended up in critical condition from this obstruction and my family was faced with a very difficult decision...put me down or attempt emergency surgery to save my life.

Thankfully I survived the surgery and I’m on the road to recovery! The vet who performed my surgery says it’s a miracle that I made it as long as I did with such a severe bowel obstruction. I know how much my family needs me so I did my best to stay strong and they never gave up on me! 

We are so blessed & thankful I am now home recovering well But we must find a way to pay my vet bill. Please ANY support is much appreciated to help!!! If we are able to raise anything over the cost of the vet bill, my family will donate to help someone else experiencing financial hardship and has an animal that needs life saving veterinary care.
