Hi, my name’s Zero and I’m trying to raise money for my FTM top surgery!

I’m a 25 year old non-binary transmasc person and all my life I have felt weird and uncomfortable in my body. It took me 23 years to figure out why I always felt wrong, and the last 2 years of living as my true non-female self have been the most comfortable I’ve felt in my body.

Having top surgery is really important to me for my mental health and physical comfort. On top of it helping me to feel more settled in my own skin, I also get a lot of extremely painful and deep cysts on my chest that will be helped massively by having my breast tissue removed.

ALL costs will go directly towards the cost of the surgery and aftercare. I have my initial consultation in November and my first in-person hospital appointment at the end of December. All being well, I should be able to have my surgery sometime in the first half of 2022. I have been given an approximate cost of the procedure at present - which is roughly between £6000 and £9000. The formal quotation price (which’ll be given to me at my consultation) will include:

• the surgical and hospital fee
• pre and post-operative care up to 1 year
• pre and post operative manual lymphatic drainage to enhance healing
• 24/7 nurse on call post operatively
• post operative garments

Any money that doesn’t go directly towards the procedure will go directly to travel costs, hotel stay and any extra care I may need post-op.

Whatever support you can offer me will be so greatly appreciated. Having this surgery means so much to me and I’m very fortunate to have a loving and supportive family and friend group to stand by me and help me through everything I’ve been through in my life - but I’m asking now for just a little bit more to help me get where I need to be to live most comfortably.
