ZEPHY's Mom Ear Surgery

Hey everyone,

For the past year, my mother has been struggling to hear and communicate. She has been depressed knowing she's unable to communicate well with her family, her friends, and even people in public. The best way to communicate with her has been texting. If we do try to have a vocal conversation with her, you would have to make sure she's looking at you and you're basically shouting for her to understand you. I miss having face to face vocal conversations with my mom and being able to joke around with her making her smile. It's been a struggle every time I go to visit her and even with knowing. as we get older, we appreciate more & more of our times with our parents and I know we don't have all the time in the world. Which is why this is very important to me. My mom has been seeing the doctor frequently and right now she's currently using a hearing aid. Unfortunately, no changes have been made and the hearing aid doesn't make a difference. The issue right now is that she needs to have surgery. The doctor has said that they need to fix the bone in her ear to allow her to hear better.

Now I'm no specialist but for all I know, is that the surgery is pricy and it's something we can't afford out of our own pocket at the moment. Every single penny, dollar, will of course go straight to her $2,800 ear surgery.

So instead of asking for a simple handout, I figured I'd entertain my own audience and do fun challenges together per incentive reached.

Example: $300 = Ketchup on head, $800 = Wear Pepper Costume, etc.

I've never done this before and it's completely out of my comfort zone considering I really don't put too much of my personal life out there.
