On January 31, 2022 I received the worst news a mother could ever get. My baby had been found unresponsive and I need to get there NOW !!!!

the second I turned down Spring I knew it was not a nightmare the lights of first responders lit up the street. I didn’t get to see her until the hospital for a fraction of a minute… time was precious !!! She was flown to PICU in Iowa city… she remained on life support until 2.2.22 when she was formally pronounced at 3:39 with her daddy, grandmother and myself present. I believe she was greeted in death by her uncle Bryan her best friend with open arms. She at that point was not longer suffering.

In the 15 years my daughter was with us, We have been blessed with a best friend, a companion, a daughter,sister, aunt, cousin, niece and granddaughter, girlfriend, cat momma and student . We know she wasn’t afraid to laugh, love, show humility, and compassion: she was sensitive and would give you anything you asked her for she was a blessing to many. Zephaniah will remain at the PICU until her donation process is complete. She could be a blessing to up to 8 people waiting for the gifts she has to offer. She will forever be cherished and remembered as the Perfect woman she was a Giver. Zephaniah was named Zephaniah after an Old Testament prophet and the scripture Zephaniah 3:17 which declares “The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” perfect for her. I decided to make a gofundme to help our family with burial cost and to help my baby rest easy. Please know this is not required.

I am simply making this for those who have been asking for a way give a way to be a blessing to our family, it is not required and we will be thankful always ❤️
