Hello, my boy was diagnosed with Supracardia TAPVR since the womb. When he was born the doctors advised me that he would need surgery, but it would need to happen in three months since he was born premature and under weight. Due to his function it has not been easy for him to gain his weight due to him having poor feeding because his he easily gets tired due to his heart working itself out extremely fast.

Zen got really sick on the week of January 1st and started to get extremely congested to the point his breathing started to retract and you can see his little ribs. On the weekend of January 6th Zen lost oxygen back to back where his face got pale blue and he struggled to grasp his air. He was taken to the Nicklaus emergency where they admitted him and found that his lungs were full of fluid and his heart was considered in heart failure because it wasn't working how it was supposed to.

Zen is now on a respiratory machine that is helping him breathe since he is very low on his own oxygen and he would need to be on the machine until further notice. The doctors are talking about surgery being in the next two weeks to see if his symptoms of fluid subside on their own but if things do get worse they will need to proceed with open heart surgery immediately.

Currently Zen is at the Nicklaus Children's Cardiac Intensive Care Unit where he is being monitored closely and receiving feedings through a feeding tube and heart failure medication to keep him at total function. Without this surgery he will not make it so it is extremely necessary for him to get this surgery so his heart and lungs can go hand in hand in keeping him alive. My baby is only 6 weeks old and he deserves to live.

We have asked for prayers and haven't wanted to ask for much help but at this moment if anyone could help financially with what's about to happen that would be greatly appreciated. Anything is everything.
