Thank you friends and family for your interest in helping us toward rebuilding, after the devastating losses from Hurricane Irma. Both of our greenhouses/high tunnel facilities were less than a year old and are both completely demolished. These structures make it possible to grow our main crops; without them we have very little product to sell. While certainly disheartening, we both agree we want to continue. We hope to be able to rebuild very quickly to get the fall crops going.
We made the leap to get into farming a little over three years ago, due to the huge encouragement from our local chef friends. Between the chefs, some amazing friends made along this path, and family, we have been able to accomplish what we have so far. It has truly been a dream come true to start this little farm from scratch (though not without the occasional hiccups along the way). Though certainly not always easy, we love what we do, and can not imagine seeing it any other way.
We are very grateful that the animals and goat barn are ok. All help is greatly appreciated in the past and in the future. Thank you again for looking at our Go Fund Me. Everyone who has already offered help, we are so apprecaitive already. Please share this page to help us reach our goal.
