Hi Family & Friends!

Zeniyah has been accepted to do a month long Japanese language and culture immersion program with CIEE (Council for International Education Exchange) . She will be learning Japanese and exploring Tokyo to learn about the culture and history, as well as having the chance to practice what shes learning with locals.

She will participate in a homestay program, where her host family will take her on weekend excursions and help immerse her in the culture. This is a once in a lifetime experience. But we need your help to get her there.

Based on her academic and extracurricular achievements, Zeniyah was able to earn a scholarship covering almost half of her tuition-$3,180!! The remaining $3770 is due by April 15th. Tuition covers language classes, cultural excursions, meals and accommodations for the duration of the program. What is not included is the cost of travel to and from Tokyo (flights, hotels etc.)

All together remaining tuition plus travel is about $8,000.

We truly appreciate your support in helping Zeniyah secure this once in a lifetime opportunity and we can't wait to share her experiences with you all when she gets back!!!
