Zena’s Surgery Funds

This past Friday, my dog Zena got into a pack of chicken wings and ate about 8 of them, leaving lots of brittle bones in her stomach. We took her to the vet who had her transfer to the hospital for emergency surgery (Voo Vets Hospital in Surbiton) . She came out of that successfully about 12:30am Saturday morning. They decided to keep her an additional couple of days for observation as she began vomiting. She finally got to come home Monday evening! She is on the mend with lots of antibiotics, pain meds, appetite stimulants.

The bill for this was £500 to get her into the vet, get X-rays under sedation, and decide on treatment. The second bill was £4,331.51.

I truly loathe to ask for me any kind of monetary help, but the vet fees were completely unexpected.
