Farewell to our dear friend Zena,
There are no words we can find to express the devastating and tragic loss of our dearest friend Zena. Having been recently diagnosed with cancer, she made the courageous decision to undergo potentially life-saving surgery, but sadly died following post-operative complications.
Despite Zena suffering from ill health throughout her adult years, this loss was totally unexpected and has left her family and friends reeling with shock and sadness. She was vibrant and colourful and touched the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. She is irreplaceable and has left a gaping hole in Rob and Liliths’ worlds.
Zena was unique in every way! On her Facebook page her friends admire her bravery, positivity, strength, kindness, warmth, and quirkiness. Most of all people remark on her wicked sense of humour.
Zena had an eclectic style. Her hair was always a myriad of colours, her outfits stylish and individual. She was an extremely talented seamstress, her last project was creating a dramatic and beautiful prom dress for her daughter Lilith.
We know friends and relatives have been shocked by this terrible and unexpected loss. This site has been created for those who want to contribute towards funeral costs so we can give Zena a fitting send off.
