"Can I get my paycheck?," is what Zenas purportedly asked before he was tragically shot on Wednesday, August 21st of 2019. His daughter's birthday was on Friday, August 23rd of 2019 and he wanted to buy her a gift for her birthday celebration - one to remember. Instead, his circumstance resulted in his boss taking a gun, shooting him several times and ending his life.
Zenas' family is raising money to provide a respectable burial for him. He was only 38 years old, and his untimely death has placed a huge financial burden on the family. The funds will specifically be used to transport his body from Georgia back to Ohio where he will be laid to rest. Donations will also provide transportation for his fiancé and children to travel from Albany, Georgia to Dayton, Ohio for his funeral service.
