Zenaida Realba Memorial Fund
Dear family and friends,
On October 5th, 2020, our mother, Zenaida said her final good-bye. We lost a beautiful, loving woman and we will miss her always. Zeny will be remembered by her children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends. We’re finding solace in knowing she is at peace and reunited with loved ones long lost.
If you knew Zeny, you know how deeply she loved. The people in her life were what made her life so worth living. She loved going out, being social and living life to its fullest. She was strong and always stood up for others. She worked hard her entire life to provide the best for her family, always finding a way to make it work. Family meant everything to her and she was always there when someone needed her. In the end, it was complications with her heart that took her from us but the love she held in it remains.
On behalf of Zeny’s children, Mike, Michelle and Melissa, we thank you for the incredible outpouring of support. The grief we feel is unlike any we’ve felt before but the words of empathy and gestures of kindness help make each day a little easier. A few friends and family have inquired about helping out with mom's memorial costs and we have set up this GoFundMe campaign as a means to do that. If you would like to help out at this time, we would greatly appreciate it and we thank you for the kind gesture in advance.
The funds this campaign raises will contribute directly towards the costs of Zeny's memorial service and cremation. Any proceeds above the goal will be applied toward returning her to her final resting place, at her mother’s grave, in the Philippines. This was one of her final wishes.
The campaign runs from Tuesday, October 13th to Sunday, October 25th, at which point GoFundMe will forward the funds to Melissa, who will allocate the funds accordingly.
