Our dojo - our club, our martial arts school, our life school, our second home - has been serving students in Brooklyn, NY for 40 years! While our younger students are from the nearby neighborhoods, adult students come to train from many areas of NYC. Former students and Black Belts stop by to train or to pay a visit even from other states.
Currently the dojo has been undergoing an extensive renovation, both in spirit and appearance. Some substantial repairs have already been accomplished: new mats , fresh paint, new blinds, other cosmetic repairs in the main training area; full renovation of our basement gym: ceiling and walls repaired and painted; flooring changed; some equipment reupholstered. The staircase to the basement: old carpeting removed; stairs and walls painted; treads installed. There is still work to be done to make our home even more hospitable to us and to the students that we serve. The dojo is not there to make money, so every penny counts. Some Senseis and students have already made their contributions, either by investing their time or money!
