Hi! I'm Zeller. I am a 29 year old transman living in Colorado, but you probably know that already.
I came out as transgender 10 years ago, though I've always known something was different about me. I am very lucky that my family and friends are so supportive and accepting of the fact that I am transitioning from female to male. Throughout the last 10 years, I have had to bind my chest to feel comfortable enough to live life daily and feel comfortable in my own body. This fund was created so I may soon have chest surgery. This will allow me to finally feel like my body matches how I truly feel, and so I will not have to bind any longer. Let's be honest, I get overheated and have to wear several layers. This makes it super uncomfortable, especially in the summer.
The total cost of the surgery and travel to Florida will be $10,000+. My insurance is refusing to cover any of the procedure as they deem it cosmetic and not medically necessary. While I am saving up as much as I can, sometimes we all need a little help. Anything raised will go directly towards my surgery costs.
