It was recently discovered that our beloved Zella has a torn canine cruciate ligament tear (ACL) in her left leg that has been causing her a lot of pain and trouble walking for a couple of months now. The chances of her other CCL tearing is very high because of this, and is already showing signs of inflammation. We are looking at a long road of pain management, physical therapy, and most likely arthritis if she cannot get this surgery. Insurance will not cover the costs, so right now I am looking at paying the total costs of her injury out of pocket :( I know many of you have come to know and adore Zella as much as I do, so anything helps to try to make her life better and longer! <3
