Zella's Open Heart Surgery Fund

Zella Mae is a spunky, sweet, and sassy 2 year old little girl. She holds a very special place in her family members’ hearts. Even before being born Zella's heart was not the most cooperative. She had a 2:1 AV block causing her heart to have an irregular beat. Doctors prepared Zella's Mommy, Brittany, and their families that Zella Mae might need to have a pacemaker when she was born. By the grace of God Zella's block healed before she was born, but she was left with a hole in her heart. Zella spent a few days in the NICU on oxygen and then was able to go home. Since birth she has been one resilient little girl despite still having the hole in her heart. Doctors were hoping that the hole would heal without medical attention, but it is not. Zella will be going for open heart surgery on November 15, 2016 to fix this hole. This page it being setup to help with medical, travel, and food expenses for Zella Mae and her Mommy.
