Howdy, my name is Logan Dees. My fiancée Amberlee Lang and I are seeking financial assistance to help pay for the emergency vet bills of our precious puppy, Zelda.

Zelda is a nine-year-old Australian Shephard Mix, who is energetic, loving, cuddly, and an absolute bundle of joy. Amberlee has had her since she was a small, barely few weeks old puppy, and she has been her constant companion ever since. They are inseparable, and Zelda is a large part of our own small family. She recently suddenly began experiencing repeated episodes of sudden vomiting and diarrhea. Worst of all, these bouts of sickness often included her vomiting or excreting larger and larger amounts of blood. Beginning with tiny flecks of blood in her vomit before proceeding to color it completely, as well as to cause her stools to be completely dark black/red and tarry in texture.

Saturday, January 29th, we decided to take her to an emergency vet as she began vomiting and excreting large amounts of blood. While there, they gave us an estimate of the cost of the thorough examination to cover all possible causes. This would cost us anywhere from $1,136 to $1,656 and does NOT include the actual treatment/medication costs.

Between recently moving into a new apartment, deposits/connection fees, and other emergency expenses in the past few weeks, such as repairs/titling/registration fees for our only vehicle, we do not have the spare funds to afford this treatment for little Zelda. We will be taking her back to a non-emergency vet on Monday, January 31st, to get a hopefully cheaper examination and treatment, but it is likely to still be upwards of $1000-$2500 when all is said and done. This number could wing wildly based on the specific treatment she requires.

Amberlee and I both constantly work, with me performing in cover bands for additional money. During this time, I have been staying home with Zelda to take care of her and keep an eye on her, which further increases the total cost of her treatment. We simply don't have the means to make any more money to provide Zelda with the care she immediately needs.

So please, we hope you can help us help Zelda, so that she can go on living a long, happy life with us. We would be forever grateful, and it would mean more to Amberlee and myself than we could ever express in words.
