We’re raising $6,000 in 30 days to support 10 students traveling to participate in a collaborative sustainability & engineering program between Ethiopian universities and Arizona State University in May 2026.

This work brings students together across institutions and across Ethiopia for hands-on, experiential learning. For many, travel costs, whether international or within Ethiopia, are the biggest barrier to participating.

What your donation does:

$500 = provides a critical subsidy toward one ASU student’s international flight

$300 = brings a student from a rural Ethiopian university to Addis Ababa to join the program

$100 = covers food for a week

$25 = moves one student one step closer to coming

Every dollar directly supports student access for this Engineers Without Borders project, on our third year traveling to Ethiopia.

We need to secure travel soon. Help us make sure rising costs from war aren't what keep a student from this opportunity.
