Help Melissa beat Cancer!

My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 adenocarcinoma pancreatic cancer in June of 2020. Since it is inoperable, she has endured IV chemotherapy, radiation, chemo pills, all sorts of scans and blood draws. She now also has type 2 diabetes due to the effects of cancer on her pancreas and congestive heart failure due to chemotherapy and radiation treatments. With treatment over the last year, the size of the mass shrunk significantly.

Melissa recently had a CT scan that revealed a new mass, showing cancer had metastasized to her liver. The next few months will be hard on her body as she will begin a different IV chemotherapy for this. With retired military health benefits and high deductibles, there is not much coverage for the extensive treatments costs. Melissa has continued to work at the vet clinic to help offset these healthcare costs, even while undergoing treatment. Any money raised will ease the stress and weight of medical bills as well as missed work opportunities.
