Zeke Alexander Ensley unfortunately passed away on Friday, April 23rd 2021. He leaves behind his loving mother, Darlene Ensley; older brother Zachary, sister-in-law Jodie, and nephew Lincoln Ensley; sister Megan Powell, as well as his beloved girlfriend Catharine Blevins.
Zeke had the biggest heart - he was always trying to make people laugh and boost their spirits if they were feeling down. Zeke had an amazing ability to be able to read people and a gift at connecting to them. He could make anyone feel appreciated, cared for, and understood. There was a charm and charisma that he had which made him a friend to everyone that he would meet. He found joy being outside in nature. Fishing was one of his greatest passions - it was something that he grew up doing and found a love for.
Zeke Ensleys passing was untimely and very sudden which left his entire family and friends completely devastated. Darlene, his mother, is especially left with the insurmountable pain of losing her youngest son that no mother should ever have to face. The Ensley family have chosen to honor Zekes’ legacy with a Celebration of Life at Chippokes State Park in Surry, VA on Saturday May 1st at 2:00pm. There will be a table shine decorated with candles and pictures of him throughout his life with loved ones where friends and family can gather to share memories about him they cherish with each other. Any donation made is greatly appreciated and will help the family tremendously by going towards his cremation and final expenses.
It is with broken hearts that we must say goodbye to Zeke Alexander Ensley - May he Rest in Peace.
