Dear family, friends, and compassionate supporters,

My name is Ashley Sanders and I'm from Altadena, CA. I'm writing on behalf of my family, (Gary, Linda, Lasheia, and Shellese) who have tragically lost our family home to the Eaton Canyon Wildfire in Altadena, CA. Thank God everyone is healthy and safe; however, our lives are forever changed due to this unexpected turn of events.

My parents worked their entire lives to raise their children and leave a legacy for their family. My mother, a former high school counselor, and my father, a former Account Administrator, both retired 3 years ago. On January 8, 2025, one day after the birth of their 6th grandchild, the house burned to the ground. Unfortunately, they were unable to grab any of their valuables in advance. They were forced to evacuate with only the clothes on their backs.

Grief has been coming in waves for us all. If you're moved to contribute financially, and/or share this link, it would be greatly appreciated.
