Help Michelle Battle Breast Cancer!

Hi All, reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Michelle Sorensen, a courageous single mother of three beautiful children. Michelle lives 1500 miles away from her closest family, making her battle against breast cancer even more challenging.

Earlier this year, Michelle received a life-changing diagnosis of breast cancer. Despite the shock and hardships, she has shown incredible strength throughout her treatment. She recently completed her first round of chemotherapy and is preparing for the second round next week. Her doctors have scheduled a double mastectomy in October, which will be followed by a long recovery period.

During this time, Michelle will be on disability leave from her job. Unfortunately, disability benefits only cover 60% of her regular income, which is not enough to sustain her household expenses, medical bills, and the needs of her children.

We are aiming to raise $20,000, which will help cover:

Medical expenses including treatments not covered by insurance

Living expenses during her recovery when her income will be reduced

Additional support for her children during this tough time
