Hello, my name is Jessica, a wife and mother of 3 beautiful girls.
On March 23, 2020, right before the onset of Covid pandemic, my life completely changed when I suffered a pseudo brain aneurysm, leaving the left side of my body paralyzed. I am sitting here today wheelchair bound and feeling so blessed because I know God saved me for a purpose. The fact that I am alive today to tell you my story is a miracle in itself. My neuro surgeon said that I should have died the way the artery in my brain burst. After seven brain surgeries, in and out between the hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, I was away from my family a total of 11 months.
I am trying to raise funds for my therapy sessions at REACT, a neurological training facility which is far superior to traditional physical or occupational therapy.
I have only had 17 hours of training sessions in May, and have already regained strength on my left side.
It’s been an emotional roller coaster these past two years, constantly battling with the insurance company, having been recently told that the status of my insurance is ‘definite decline period’ which means any orders for therapies from my physicians will no longer be approved. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and advocate for myself.
My ultimate goal is to be self-reliant and independent, and be able to take care of my family once again. In order for me to continue this path of regaining my strength and mobility, I need your financial support to continue my journey at REACT. No amount is too little.
Thank you for reading my story and truly appreciate your support.
Blessings,
Jessica
