Zeek’s Fight

As you would now be aware, Ezekiel Carney (Zeek), is extremely unwell. His rapid deterioration brought about emergency tests and screenings from the moment he first went to hospital on Thursday, 14th of January 2021. Zeek is now in ICU at the Alfred Hospital. He is in an induced coma to help him breathe. We know for sure that he has a cancerous growth in his chest which is applying immense pressure on his heart and lungs. Tests are continuing to decipher exactly what kind of cancer it is. Zeek is in the best care and the doctors are keeping mum, Hayley, consistently updated on his condition and test results. As any parent would, Hayley has travelled to Melbourne to be as close to Zeek as she possibly can. This has meant she has had to stop working for what would be a considerable amount of time - as doctors have told her, she “needs to be prepared for the long haul”. Of course, everyday expenses and bills do not stop for anyone. To add to this, Hayley has the prospect of indefinite medical costs. We are asking you all to support this beautiful family during this devastating time. They will be eternally grateful for any donation, no matter how small.
