Stolen engagement ring

Hello friends and family. As you probably know now, over Memorial Day weekend my house was broken into. One of the items found and stolen was Chelsea’s engagement ring I had just purchased and brought home. Unfortunately homeowners insurance is not going to cover this loss. The loss has been devastating, but the worst part is Chelsea finding out that I had purchased a ring. We would be getting engaged soon and now that surprise and moment has been stolen from us. The violation of having a stranger in your home is something that I have never felt before. To think that something so meaningful to us is what was found and stolen during a random break in is sickening. They will never understand what they took and what that means to me and what it would have meant for Chelsea.
