I am doing this on behalf of The Larsen Family. As some of you know, Dave has had several medical problems over the last 5 years. He was diagnosed in 2019 with Crohn's disease when he was admitted to the hospital for blood loss. In January of 2022, he had to have his colon removed, which had several complications and a long hospital stay. Then, in February of 2023, he had to have a liver transplant due to the damage the Crohn's had caused. This was a very complicated surgery, which was followed by several complications and numerous hospital stays. They are lucky to have decent insurance, and he had enough time from his employer to cover being off, but they have been paying on hospital bills continuously for 3 years.

Dave is going to be having another, and hopefully his last, surgery in June. He does not have enough sick and vacation time to cover this surgery. He plans on using Paid Family Medical Leave, but they do not compensate his full wage, and there will be added medical bills as well. I am hoping that we can help them raise some funds to help ease the anxiety and burden for them as they prepare for yet another surgery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
